Ingress Notes: Thisavrou

by Starflight of the NightWings
Introduction
Following the events on Cadacus Primary, it has become clear that it is important to learn more about the Ingress. Since no information exists in the library or any of the Moira's computers, I have chosen to begin recording any and all facts about the Ingress, both those that exist on planets we visit and the one aboard the Moira. My hope is to one day compile this research into a proper report, to be used as a guide for the future. This scroll will act as a repository of notes, including cited facts, hypothesis, and other commentary as new information is gathered. I hope it will one day prove beneficial to everyone onboard the Moira.
Entry 1
The Ingress is a device that creates a portal between worlds, and draw both living beings and non-living items from one place to another. It is useful for transporting supplies and covering large distances quickly. The Ingress aboard the Moira appears to be non-functional (or the knowledge of how to use it is beyond comprehension), which is why people are randomly brought on board the ship. Anyone who passes through the Moira Ingress cannot be sent back.

Entry 2
The denizens of Cadacus Primary believe the Ingress were built by 'the creators', a super intelligent civilization that built Ingress on different planets to expand exploration.
"The Ingress is its own technology. Advanced and beyond our understanding. It is here to make transportation of both cargo and personnel easier, but has not been functioning correctly."
"The Ingress is on our planet, but we didn't place it here. We are not associated with the creators or the installation."
"They are the most intelligent beings we've ever encountered. They created the Ingress technology which expanded our universe."

Entry 3
Ingress can become destructively unstable when damaged, with the potential to destroy entire planets in certain conditions. I hypothesize the Ingress must require a massive amount of energy to function.
